RONA Glass Museum

In Lednické Rovne, glass has a name, a history and a place. The RONA Glass Museum invites you to step into a world where a century-old glassmaking tradition meets art, design and human craftsmanship.

Housed in a historic 16^(th)-century manor house — the only one of its kind in Slovakia today — the museum systematically documents the development of glass production from the founding of the glassworks in 1892 to the present day.

You will see exhibits over 100 years old, historical collections and everyday glassware from the last century, as well as exceptional works of art by Slovakian and international glass artists.

The museum also features a gallery which regularly hosts temporary exhibitions of contemporary glass art. Here, visitors can see that glass is not just a utilitarian material, but a legitimate artistic medium.

The RONA brand store, located right next to the museum, naturally complements the experience of the visit. After discovering the history of glass, visitors can purchase elegant glasses, goblets or designer pieces created right here in Lednické Rovne to take home with them.
