Hájnica Lookout Tower
Above the unobtrusive village of Haluzice, on Hájnica hill, stands a lookout that will not amaze you with its height but with its atmosphere. It is a place to slow down rather than conquer a height record. And that is precisely its charm.

The Hájnica Lookout is easily accessible and peaceful, making it ideal for families with children, seniors and anyone who wants to enjoy a short outing with nice views. Just a few minutes’ walk through the forest will take you to a place where the landscapes of the White Carpathians and Bošácka Dolina meet, and where you can learn about the history of Považie.
An outing that is accessible to all.
The lookout point is located just 500 metres from the village of Haluzice and can be reached via a clearly marked forest path. The ascent is short and easy; at a slow pace, it takes approximately 20 minutes to reach the top. This makes Hájnica a popular destination for family outings, walks with older people, and short breaks from the city in the evening.
The area around the lookout point is perfect for picnics, barbecues and quiet sunsets.
Views that surprise.
Although the lookout tower is only 7.3 metres high, the views from the walkway are surprisingly extensive. To the east, the White Carpathians and Považský Inovec come into view, while to the west, Bošácka dolina with its scattered villages and small churches can be seen.
The region’s castle landmarks do not escape the attentive eye: Beckov Castle, Trenčín Castle and Tematín Castle emerge from the countryside like silent guardians of the Považie region. The view of the Romanesque church ruins in Haluzice, which date back to 1299, is also exceptional.
