Beckov Salaš
Just a short distance from the iconic Beckov Castle, you’ll find a place with honest Slovak cuisine and a peaceful natural atmosphere. Beckov Salaš is a popular stop for both locals and visitors who want to enjoy traditional dishes in an authentic setting near a nature reserve and educational trail.

The salaš has won the hearts of guests not only through its atmosphere but also through its quality. You’ll find honest cooking here, based on traditional recipes. The menu features classics of Slovak cuisine such as bryndzové halušky (potato dumplings with sheep cheese), pirohy (dumplings filled with potato, cheese, or meat), strapačky (dumplings with sauerkraut and pork fat), and sweet šúľance (rolled dumplings with poppy seeds or nuts), as well as grilled specialties like sheep cheese, ribs, lamb knee, and pork tenderloin. During weekends, the offer is supplemented with special dishes.
A major advantage of the salaš is its own products – bryndza (sheep cheese spread), fresh and smoked sheep cheese, and žinčica (pressed sheep milk whey) – all made on-site from the milk of local sheep. During the season, you can purchase them directly at the property and take a piece of the region home with you.

An experience for the whole family
Salaš Beckov is also an ideal destination for families with children. There is a playground on the premises, as well as animals that can be watched and petted, and plenty of space to relax. The surrounding area offers opportunities for walks, hikes and bike rides.
As well as dining options, you can purchase local produce, meat specialities and souvenirs inspired by Slovak traditions. Whether you stop for lunch, a day trip or just a short break, you’ll leave not only with great food, but also with fond memories of the authentic Slovak countryside.
