FARMPARK Lubina
If you’re looking for a place where children can enjoy real contact with animals while learning something new, MiniFARMA in Lubina is the perfect choice. It’s not just a typical farm — its uniqueness lies in its collection of miniature farm animals, which children can see up close, pet or even feed.
Home to more than 100 animals, the farm boasts everything from cute miniature sheep, goats and ponies to more unusual species such as red-necked wallabies and African hedgehogs. There are also miniature horses, miniature llamas and tiny Sebritta chickens, which are among the world’s smallest breeds. For comparison, you’ll also find larger breeds here, such as the enormous “maxi-chicken”, the Brahma.
An experience at your fingertips!
MiniFARMA is an interactive petting farm where the animals aren’t kept behind fences. They roam in open-access pens, and visitors can walk freely among them. Children can therefore experience direct contact with the animals, who often come up to them and happily accept pats or treats. There is also a petting zoo area where you can hold rabbits, guinea pigs or hamsters. In the aviaries, you’ll find ornamental birds that are used to people.
Feeding the animals is a great experience for children — the animals quickly make their way over to visitors and certainly don’t lack attention! During the season, you can see baby animals and even bottle-feed some of them.
The farm’s activity leaders teach children how to care for and groom the animals properly, and share lots of interesting facts about the animal kingdom. There are also demonstrations of simple tricks and how to lead the horses. A popular activity is pony and horse riding, which is adapted for even the youngest children, ensuring a safe and stress-free experience.
Relaxation for the whole family
FARMAPARK has parents in mind, too. While the children enjoy the forest or water playground or interact with the animals, adults can unwind in the shade of the trees, in a hammock or over a cup of coffee. The grounds also feature relaxation areas and creative workshops to entertain all ages.
