trenČIN TO THE CASTLE! (invitation only)

Not all heroes wear crowns. Some live among us and, through their everyday actions, make Trenčín a better place. Throughout 2026, trenČIN, an art project by Czech artist Kateřina Šedá, sought out and recognised people whose significance cannot be measured in numbers — people who help others, bring communities together, and contribute something exceptional to the lives of those around them. The symbolic culmination of the project will be a ceremonial gathering of the award recipients at Trenčín Castle, a place traditionally associated with power and prominent figures. This time, however, it will belong to those who quietly change the world around them, yet make an all the more meaningful difference. The event is by invitation only.
