On Saturday 25 July 2026, Trenčín Castle will be filled with valiant knights and there will be a packed programme of activities for all the family to enjoy. Join us on a journey back to a time when honour was defended with the sword and courage was valued above all else.
What will you experience during this day of chivalry?
– Fencing and juggling performances: Witness breathtaking duels and be entertained by the jugglers’ mastery.
– Period crafts: See the skill of the old masters with your own eyes. Watch a candlemaker, scribe, coin maker, tailor and wool processor at work, and try your hand at juggling in a workshop.
– Period attractions for children: Your little ones can try archery, crossbow shooting, throwing at a target and shooting with a small catapult.
– Small period camp: Visit an authentic camp and learn how medieval warriors lived and trained.
– Interactive armoury: View and try out replicas of weapons and armour from various historical periods.
– Period Kitchen: Let the aromas entice you as you sample medieval specialities prepared according to original recipes.
