From the Váh to the World: Trenčín 2026 Celebration of Thanks

Curiosity has become one of Trenčín’s defining qualities this year. The desire to discover, to understand what has been discovered and to put that knowledge to use has accompanied life in the city and throughout the region with particular intensity in recent months. And it has resonated strongly with audiences – local, visiting and overseas alike.

Showing what we can do, taking a look at who we are and what matters to us takes courage. Welcoming inspiration, good ideas and impulses from elsewhere? That takes courage too. This time, they come from the Váh, spanned by a rediscovered bridge. And there is no need to be shy about trumpeting it to the whole world.
