TIPOS BIKEFEST is the largest cycling festival in Slovakia. It offers a huge adrenaline rush and fun for all ages. The 16th edition will take place from May 29 to 31, 2026, as usual at the Freeride Bikepark Kálnica (near Nové Mesto nad Váhom).
You can look forward to more than 10 different disciplines, as well as the Mountain Bike World Cup Slopestyle event. Dozens of bicycle brands will bring a total of more than 300 bikes to Kálnica for you to test ride. Plus, you can look forward to an awesome lineup:
Evening parties – There’s nothing better than enjoying a great party after a day spent on your bike. As usual, there will be parties on both Friday and Saturday. You can look forward to drum ‘n’ bass one night and house & EDM the next. Once again this year, the music program will be provided by Trident—and get ready, Gleb is coming too!
Great Food – Every year at BikeFest, you’ll find a food court full of great food with something for everyone. You can choose from a variety of meat dishes, as well as options for vegetarians and vegans. There will also be something on the menu for visitors with gluten and lactose intolerances. After a good meal, you can’t miss out on tasty coffee, Birell, or other drinks.
Whip-off contest – Whips serve no other purpose than to look good. A good whip is more stylish than 8 out of 10 more difficult tricks. It’s a trick where the rider “snaps” the rear of the bike to the side during a jump. The more the bike is turned, the better the whip. They can be done to both sides, or even in the air with one foot off the pedal. The bike should be straightened out before landing, because a technically clean landing is part of a good whip. The Spank Whip Off Contest also features a spectator-friendly evening finale, during which riders can test their skills for free.
